Job summary

Vinted is seeking a Senior Manager Payments Partnerships to own the external partner stack across the transaction lifecycle and drive commercial negotiations, performance optimization, and cost efficiencies for Vinted Pay.

You will work across Business, Product, Engineering, Strategic Finance and Legal to build business cases for fintech partnerships that solve real user problems and deliver meaningful business impact. This role requires strategic, analytic, and negotiation excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in payments partnership management or payments product commercial strategy within a marketplace, merchant, PSP, or fintech.
• Deep understanding of interchange-based pricing structures and card networks.
• Excellent negotiation skills with complex, high-value agreements.
• Strong collaboration with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Product.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary commercial and strategic owner for Vinted Pay interactions with partners and networks.
• Architect a multi-provider operating model and optimize commercial terms through RFI and contract leadership.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and enforce SLAs and performance targets across partners.
• Evaluate new payment rails (Open Banking, A2A, wallets, BNPL) to improve conversion and reduce costs.
• Leverage US/UK/EU card value chain knowledge to maximise authorisation rates.
• Own end-to-end strategy for cost savings on scheme fees, interchange, FX markups, and payouts.
• Build business cases delivering measurable Revenue, GMV, and Cost impact.
