Referment is seeking a London-based partnerships-driven Business Development professional to own the partner side of our growing global payments platform. You will build relationships with acquiring banks, mobile carriers and PSPs, negotiating terms and crafting proposals in a consultative, relationship-led environment.
The role focuses on end-to-end deal-making, presenting the platform at industry events, and translating market findings into compelling pitches.
Referment is working with an FCA-regulated global payments and e-wallet platform that helps businesses accept online payments, hold balances across multiple currencies and send payouts worldwide. The company builds the commercial infrastructure behind its product in partnership with payment providers, acquiring banks and mobile carriers, and this role sits at the heart of that work.
You will own partnership-side business development rather than merchant sales. That means finding, negotiating with and onboarding the partners who make the payment rails work: acquiring banks, mobile carriers and payment providers. It is a consultative, relationship-led remit in a team that deliberately avoids hard selling, and you will be accountable for proposals, contracts and the commercial terms that follow.
The role is office-based in London, and you will need the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship and relocation support are not offered.
an established payments or fintech business development professional who has negotiated with acquirers, PSPs or carriers and wants ownership of the partner side of a growing global payments platform.
