We are excited to represent our client, a leading London-based fintech company with a turnover of around £50m, in their search for a talented Business Development Manager. Specialising in full-suite payment solutions, including acquiring and gateway services, our client empowers high-value merchants in a variety of industries including retail, travel, hospitality, and financial services.

Based in the heart of London, they are known for their cutting-edge technology, exceptional service, and commitment to driving business growth for their clients.

Business Development Manager - The Role:

Our client is seeking a proactive Sales Manager to drive new business development, targeting merchants in retail, travel, hospitality, and financial services. This is a high-impact role where you’ll generate leads, build relationships, and close deals with top-tier clients.

Business Development Manager – Key Responsibilities:

Identify and secure new business with merchants processing £10m-£50m in card turnover

Self-generate at least 75% of your leads through networking, cold outreach, and industry events

Work closely with marketing and product teams to deliver tailored payment solutions.

Negotiate contracts and foster long-term client relationships

Keep pace with industry trends to maintain a competitive edge

Business Development Manager - About You:

You are a motivated sales professional with a strong track record in B2B sales, ideally within fintech or payment solutions. You excel at generating your own opportunities and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in payments, acquiring, or gateway services

Established network in retail, travel, hospitality, or financial services sectors.

Proven ability to self-generate 75%+ of leads through proactive efforts.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Familiarity with payment processing and merchant needs is highly desirable.
