National Highways is seeking an Engineer to join the Pavement/Roads Team within the Operations Directorate in the South East region. You will lead the development and delivery of pavement renewal schemes to ensure the SRN safely meets customer needs now and in the future.

You will support early solutions, coordinate with project teams and third parties, provide technical support, and ensure compliance with DMRB and CDM 2015 while driving improvements across the region.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience in highway infrastructure design and delivery methods.
• Good knowledge of DMRB standards and their application on the highway network.
• Understanding of CDM 2015 requirements.
• Membership of a professional body is desirable or working towards membership.

Responsabilités

• Lead in the development and delivery of pavement renewal schemes.
• Coordinate works across the region with project teams and third parties.
• Provide technical support to Project Managers including material approvals and site inspections.
• Ensure adherence to asset class strategies, policies and standards.
