Job summary

Whitehall Garden Centre Ltd in Lacock near Chippenham is seeking a dedicated Patisserie Chef to join its inspirational team. You will bake high quality pastries, cakes and desserts and decorate to a high standard, thriving in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication.

The role works four days from Monday to Friday with alternate weekends and no split shifts. Benefits include 28 days holidays, staff discount, free parking and a workplace pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery/kitchen environment.
• Ability to bake and decorate high-quality pastries, cakes and desserts.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an inspirational team as a Patisserie Chef at our Lacock Garden Centre near Chippenham.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating high quality pastries, cakes and desserts, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential.

Your days of work will include working 4 days between Monday to Friday and alternate weekends, no split shifts. Bank Holidays are required.

Patisserie Chef Key responsibilities :

Ability to organise and run your own pastry section within the kitchen.Create high-quality pastries, desserts and cakes with excellent decoration skills and attention to detailTraining junior members of staffStock control and compliance, managing stock and minimising wasteYou will need to show great communication skills.Ensuring Company standards and specifications are met and maintained at all timesEnsure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained to meet Health & Safety regulations and food preparation guidelinesPrevious experience in a similar kitchen environmentBenefits
