Job summary

Whitehall Garden Centre Ltd in Lacock invites applications for a Restaurant Assistant in our Lavender Lodge or Herb Garden restaurant. You will join an enthusiastic team in a fast-paced setting, delivering friendly customer service and maintaining high standards.

Role involves greeting customers, answering queries, serving drinks, clearing tables, and till handling. Full-time options require four days per week with alternate weekends; weekend work may be included for part-time candidates.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an inspirational team as a Restaurant Assistant at our Lacock Garden Centre, in either our Lavender Lodge or Herb Garden restaurant.

The ideal candidates will ideally have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcome.

Full Time: Working 4 days during the week and alternate weekends. Part Time will include weekend working.

Restaurant Assistant duties:

Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistanceHandling customer queries courteously and efficientlyEnsure all food stored and handled to company standardsClear tables quickly and help keep the restaurant clean, tidy and attractiveOperate a till with efficiencyPrepare and serve drinks to the specified standard, in an efficient and friendly mannerTransactions handled correctly and courteously
