Job summary

NHS Jobs in Gateshead is seeking an organized administrator to join the Nursing, Quality and Patient Safety Team as the Team Administrator. You will provide essential support for patient safety, quality governance and patient experience across the Trust, coordinating meetings, papers, minutes and action logs.

You will work with the Deputy Chief Nurse and Associate Director of Nursing for Patient Safety, handling confidential information while maintaining trackers, information systems and secure

Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Office and NHS administrative systems.
• Experience working in an NHS setting.
• NVQ Business Administration or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate forward work programmes for patient safety, quality governance and patient experience meetings.
• Arrange meetings, rooms or virtual facilities, calendar invitations and attendance lists.
• Monitor submissions and compile accurate meeting packs within deadlines.
• Attend meetings and produce minutes or action notes.
• Maintain action and decision logs and escalate delays promptly.
• Provide diary coordination, correspondence, and tracking deadlines for the Deputy Chief Nurse.
• Prepare letters, reports and briefing documents to a high standard.
