BPAS is seeking a Patient Safety Lead to join our Midlands-based division. This full-time, home-based role with travel supports the national Safety Strategy, leading culture change toward transparency and continuous learning.

You will collaborate with senior managers to implement safety practices across divisions and manage incident responses. Essential qualifications include RN/RM/ODP and extensive patient safety or clinical governance experience, with strong data analysis, reporting skills,

Competenze

• Significant experience in patient safety or clinical governance within healthcare.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and psychological safety.
• Knowledge of regulatory bodies and healthcare governance frameworks.

Mansioni

• Provide support to divisional leaders on patient safety and governance.
• Conduct clinical risk reviews and audits to ensure standards.
• Embed the Safety Strategy and promote a fair and just culture.
• Investigate incidents using human factors methodologies and extract learning points.
• Support incident response management and advise staff accordingly.
• Monitor incident themes and perform system analysis of safety.
• Assist in developing action plans with local teams and share lessons learned.
