Job summary

The Patient Safety Clinical Lead sits in the Quality Team at Birmingham, the Black Country and Solihull ICB, bringing together NHS, council and voluntary partners to support 2.7 million people. The post leads patient safety incident management, investigation oversight and system learning, with clinical advice to providers and commissioners.

Applicants must be registered as an RGN, RMN, RNLD or AHP, and have degree-level education or equivalent experience; PSIRF implementation and incident data

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional: RGN, RMN, RNLD or AHP.
• Degree level education or equivalent experience supporting project or programme delivery.
• Knowledge of health service redesign and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership on patient safety and incident management.
• Lead quality workstreams supporting strategic priorities and service improvement.
• Coordinate incident reporting with providers and commissioners and identify trends.
