Advert - Band 4 Patient Pathway Administrator - Urology
We have exciting opportunities to join the Urology team as a Patient Pathway Administrator. Positions are available at either the Churchill Hospital (Headington) or the Horton Hospital (Banbury).
As a Patient Pathway Administrator, you will collaborate with clinical teams to support excellent patient care. Your responsibilities include booking clinic appointments, scheduling surgeries, and managing correspondence for consultants and nursing teams.
These roles are ideal for those entering the NHS, with opportunities for career progression. We welcome applications from recent school leavers, graduates, or individuals seeking a career change, as full training will be provided.

Understand 18-week RTT rules and use them with the OUH Elective Access Policy to manage patient pathways proactively. Contribute to PTL validation, investigate incomplete pathways, and ensure timely treatment and accurate reporting.
Ensure trust systems are updated with patient pathway information, share diagnostic information, and facilitate timely inter-provider transfers. Demonstrate high customer care standards and maintain effective relationships with clinical and administrative staff.
Handle all calls promptly, maintain confidentiality, and be flexible to cover other roles or sites as needed. Perform additional duties as directed by team leaders or managers to meet objectives.
