Advert – Band 4 Patient Pathway Administrator – Urology

We have exciting opportunities to join the Urology team as a Patient Pathway Administrator at either the Churchill Hospital (Headington) or the Horton Hospital (Banbury).

As a Patient Pathway Administrator, you will collaborate with clinical teams to support excellent patient care. Your responsibilities include communicating with patients and staff, booking clinic appointments, scheduling operating theatre lists, and managing clinic letter processing and dispatch.

This role is ideal for those seeking a career in the NHS, offering opportunities for progression within and outside the department. We welcome applications from recent school leavers, graduates, or individuals seeking a change, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide administrative support to consultants, clinical staff, and patients.
  2. Use Trust systems to produce high-quality clinical correspondence, adhering to national targets.
  3. Monitor patient pathways and escalate concerns as needed.
  4. Manage urgent investigation requests.
  5. Assist in arranging elective access procedures for patients.
  6. Maintain accurate patient information in electronic systems.
