The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an Assistant Moving and Handling Advisor to join the established Moving and Handling Team at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The role focuses on delivering training programmes for patient handling and high-risk load handling to staff across SaTH and the wider ICS in Shropshire.

You will have experience in acute clinical settings or domiciliary care and will develop your teaching qualifications to Level 3 with RoSPA training and ongoing

Responsabilités

• Deliver classroom-based and workplace-based training on patient handling and high-risk load handling.
• Support staff across The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust and the ICS in Shropshire.
• Work from The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and undertake tasks in clinical and non-clinical workplaces to promote safe handling practices.
• Develop teaching qualifications at Level 3 and pursue RoSPA training plus continuing professional development.
• Contribute to compassionate care by upholding Trust values in every interaction.
