Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an experienced trainer to deliver and evaluate manual and patient handling training in an acute NHS environment. The role requires strong communication across wards, with staff at all levels and a focus on safety.

You will work with clinical teams to develop practical training interventions, support service delivery, and uphold equality and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• ROSPA Level 3 Award for Safer People Handling Trainers or equivalent, or willingness to undertake training in post.
• Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent, or willingness to undertake training in post.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and evaluate manual and patient handling training interventions for adults at work.
• Communicate effectively with staff at all levels within an acute NHS Trust and across multidisciplinary teams.
