Job summary

York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Manual Handling Trainer to deliver induction and refresher training across staff groups. The role supports the Manual Handling Team and ensures compliance with NHS policies and risk management standards.

You will participate in audits, record-keeping and collaboration with Occupational Health to promote staff safety and health promotion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering manual handling training to diverse staff groups.
• Knowledge of NHS policies and risk management standards.
• Ability to monitor training outcomes and maintain attendance records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver induction and refresher manual handling training to staff at all levels.
• Support delivery, evaluation and quality assurance of training programmes.
• Assist managers with manual handling and DSE risk assessments with practical advice.
