Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust seeks a cheerful, friendly Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join the team at Truro Health Park, supporting the Carrick Community Mental Health Team and Dementia in Older People’s Mental Health Service.

You will be the public face of the Integrated Community Mental Health Team, handling phone and face-to-face queries with care, accuracy and sensitivity, and working as part of the administrative and clerical team with colleagues and external partners.

Qualifications

• RSA III Word-Processing or equivalent qualification or experience
• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualification
• NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service or relevant equivalent experience
• Experience of providing administrative support within a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive service as part of the administration team.
• Receptionist/Admin Assistant will provide the public face of the Integrated Community Mental Health Team (ICMHT) and Dementia in Older People’s Mental Health Service (DOPMH).
• Assist service users, their families and carers, and professionals, maintaining general reception duties and accurate use of electronic systems.
• Engage in extensive liaison with service users, GP’s, clinical staff and the public to ensure excellent customer service.
