Job summary

The role provides clinical and operational leadership to admission decisions, placement and discharge, working across wards and community teams to maximise resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive clinical and operational leadership to support admission, placement and discharge decisions.
• Coordinate across inpatient and community teams to maximise resource use and respond to capacity pressures.
• Monitor bed position, escalate capacity issues and report on activity, risks and issues.
• Support bed management and 24/7 out-of-hours arrangements and complex discharge progress.
