Job summary

The Fakenham Medical Practice is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients, carers and visitors. You will support the clinical and administrative teams, coordinating appointments, recalls and communication across healthcare providers.

Working across reception and administration, you will assist with patient-related tasks, ensure smooth reception operations, and help maintain accurate patient records using SystmOne.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused, first point of contact for patients and visitors.
• Coordinate appointments and follow-ups across clinical teams.
• Lamiliar with NHS pathways and patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet patients and visitors in person, by phone or online.
• Book, amend and cancel appointments and communicate changes.
• Arrange referrals, tests and follow-up appointments via NHS e-Referral Service.
• Process clinical and administrative correspondence and route to clinicians.
• Coordinate clinics and recalls, support national screening programmes.
