Job summary

Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking a Credit Control Assistant at Ashtead Hospital. You will be the first contact for patients with account queries, process payments, and help manage outstanding balances while upholding high standards of customer care.

Within the Private Finance Hub, you will handle payments, maintain patient records across systems, and liaise with hospital teams to resolve queries, ensuring GDPR and information governance requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT and data entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage your own workload and work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound patient calls relating to balances, payments, quotations, and account queries.
• Process debit and credit card payments accurately and securely.
• Maintain accurate patient records across multiple systems.
• Respond to email enquiries and resolve account-related issues.
• Support the collection of outstanding debt while maintaining a positive patient experience.
• Liaise with hospital teams, consultants, insurers, and colleagues to resolve queries.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, PCI-DSS, and information governance requirements.
• Contribute to team objectives, service standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
