Job summary

The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Patient Care Advisor within the Patient Access Centre in Liverpool. You will support patients through the choice pathway, book outpatient and emergency appointments, and ensure accurate capture of clinical information with strict confidentiality.

Based at The Walton Neurology Centre, you will work Monday to Friday, providing cross-cover within the Centre to maintain an efficient administration service and help meet RTT and national

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service to patients, relatives, carers, colleagues and external organisations.
• Excellent communication skills including outstanding telephone manner and organisational skills.
• Good IT/Data input skills, competent with keyboard skills and an understanding of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality customer service to patients, relatives, carers, colleagues and external organisations.
• Guide patients through the choice pathway to book outpatient services and Emergency appointments according to NHS targets.
• Confidentially receive and record clinical information from GPs, Trusts, etc.
