Job summary

HCA Healthcare UK is seeking a Patient Liaison Officer for Wilmslow Hospital to support the patient journey, manage referrals, and provide pricing quotations for self-pay patients. You will work within the Patient Access team under the guidance of the Patient Access Manager.

The role requires excellent communication, empathy, and the ability to handle billing queries while coordinating with consultants and administrative staff. This on-site position supports a patient-centered care approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, patient advocacy, or customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments and referrals within the patient journey.
• Act as a single point of contact for patients, consultants and medical secretaries.
• Provide self-pay quotations and assist with pricing queries and billing-related processes.
• Support billing and administrative tasks and manage high-volume calls professionally.
• Maintain clear records and communicate effectively with colleagues, patients and third parties.
