Role: Pathology Sales Specialist
Location: West Midlands & Wales, Field Based
Hours: Full-time
Contract: 12 months, Inside IR35
Pay: 250 - 300 per day PAYE basic or .31 per day Umbrella
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Pathology Sales Specialist to join one of our longstanding clients, a leading global healthcare organisation. This is a field-based role covering the West Midlands and Wales, working with clinical, procurement and finance stakeholders across the NHS.

The Requirements:
- BSc degree in Life Sciences or equivalent experience, such as a Biomedical Scientist background
- Strong understanding of Cellular Pathology and cancer pathways
- Knowledge of Histology and Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
- Previous field sales, territory management or relevant laboratory experience
- Experience with pathology procurement and tender processes is highly desirable
- Good understanding of NHS processes and the healthcare landscape
- Strong relationship-building skills across clinical, procurement, finance and senior management stakeholders
- Experience with a Tissue Diagnostics portfolio or comparable competitor products would be advantageous
- Commercially focused, resilient and comfortable managing a territory independently
- Willing to travel throughout the West Midlands and Wales
The Role:
- Take the lead on account sales strategy and execution across your territory
- Promote the value of specialist pathology and diagnostic solutions to NHS customers
- Build and maintain relationships with key clinical, procurement and finance stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate complex pan-pathology procurements and tenders
- Work closely with Account Managers, Product Specialists and technical teams
- Monitor changes within the NHS landscape, including procurement, tendering and payment processes
- Develop strategies to retain existing customer sites and secure new business
- Identify customer requirements and translate these into effective commercial solutions
- Manage territory opportunities and turn sales strategy into actionable plans
- Use digital sales engagement tools to support customer relationships and commercial activity
