Job Description:

IDEXX Laboratories is seeking a Pathology Operations Coordinator to support our UK & European Pathology departments. The role involves managing digital images for diagnostic purposes, supporting workflow efficiency, and handling queries from pathology teams. Responsibilities include loading digital scanners, managing slide archiving, dealing with client and staff queries, shipping samples, and maintaining equipment and records.

In this Role:

• Load digital scanners and distribute work to the pathology team.
• Assist with slide archiving systems.
• Respond promptly to client and staff queries.
• Manage packing and shipping of cytology samples and maintain scanner room cleanliness.
• Contribute to metrics and caseload logging.
• Monitor and resolve query lists for the pathology team.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

• Experience managing high workloads and dealing with customers, with troubleshooting skills.
• GCSE level education or equivalent; science background preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills and multitasking ability.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Confidence, organization, attention to detail.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, shifts 8am-4.30pm or 9am-5.30pm, with occasional evening shifts.
• Participation in Saturday shifts, up to once every five weeks.
• Reliable attendance required.
