Job summary

TRS Consulting (UK) Ltd. is seeking an Installation Engineer for Pathology Laboratory Diagnostics.

You will install sophisticated medical diagnostics systems used in pathology and NHS labs, with a mode of work involving a preliminary week at head-office followed by on-site deployment across customer sites. The role targets technically motivated, customer-focused engineers with a background in field service or installation engineering and ONC-level qualifications.

Qualifications

• Background in a customer-facing field service or installation engineering for high-value equipment.
• Experience with laboratory or medical devices is encouraged.
• Engineering/electronics/science qualification to ONC level or equivalent.
• Full training will be provided for a broad range of products.

Responsibilities

• Install a wide range of medical laboratory diagnostics systems.
• Work on-site after initial week at head-office assembling systems.
• Provide technical support and customer training where required.
• Operate in NHS laboratories and clinical chemistry environments.
