Job summary

TRS Consulting is seeking a technically motivated Installation Engineer to install a wide range of sophisticated medical laboratory diagnostics systems used in pathology departments, NHS laboratories and clinical chemistry environments.

The role involves a week at head-office assembling the systems, followed by a week on-site carrying out the installation, with a competitive package including £51,000 base salary and £7,000 bonus, plus company car, pension and healthcare.

Qualifications

Background in a customer facing field service or installation engineering in high value electronics or electro-mechanical capital equipment.
Broad range of backgrounds from laboratory device to medical device sectors encouraged to apply.
Experience with diagnostics field systems (immunology, biochemistry, haematology, histology, microbiology) encouraged to register.

Responsibilities

Install a wide range of sophisticated medical laboratory diagnostics systems used in pathology departments, NHS laboratories and clinical chemistry environments.
Spend one week at head-office assembling systems, followed by one week on-site installing them.
Provide technically motivated, customer focused service and support during installation.
