TRS Consulting in Cambridge seeks a technically motivated Installation Engineer to install a wide range of sophisticated medical laboratory diagnostics systems in pathology departments and NHS labs.

The role involves a week at head-office assembling systems, followed by a week on-site installing and commissioning, with a strong emphasis on customer service. Applications are welcome from engineers in medical device sectors with ONC-level qualifications in engineering/electronics/science.

Qualifications

• Background in customer-facing field service or installation engineering in high-value electronics or electro-mechanical equipment.
• Experience with electronics or electro-mechanical capital equipment.
• Qualification in engineering/electronics/science to ONC level.
• Field service engineers from various sectors welcomed; comprehensive product training provided.

Responsibilities

• Install a wide range of medical laboratory diagnostics systems in pathology departments and NHS laboratories.
