Job summary

Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa seeks a Pastry Chef de Partie to join a busy Rosette kitchen. You will work with a team of pastry chefs in a 2–3 Rosette operation, crafting breads, pastries and desserts with a focus on high-quality presentation.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have strong pastry capabilities in a high-quality environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a Rosette-level kitchen.
• Flexible to 45-hour weeks with overtime included.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Pastry Chef and work within a team of 3 full-time and 2 part-time pastry chefs.
• Produce desserts, pastries, breads, and afternoon tea items in-house to Rosette standards (2–3 Rosettes).
• Design menu items for dessert selections and banquet events; manage stock and ordering for pastry section.
