Job summary

The Midland, part of Leonardo Hotels Limited Edition, invites a Pastry Chef de Partie to craft a broad range of intricate pastry goods for the hotel’s afternoon tea lounge, restaurants, and events.

You will join a skilled pastry team, working in-house, with opportunities to grow your expertise through ongoing training and internal development programmes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, present and deliver consistently outstanding pastry goods for the hotel outlets, weddings and events.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and comply with health, allergens, COSHH and HACCP regulations.
• Assist with stock control and identify methods to improve food service.
• Run sections of the kitchen during service and ensure equipment and products are ready before service.
• Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to elevate the guest experience.

Limited Edition is a part of the Leonardo Hotels portfolio.**Main Tasks**As a pastry CDP you will be required to provide a wide range of intricate pastry goods across the hotel. This will include bespoke individual technical cakes for the afternoon tea lounge, A la carte desserts for the hotels restaurants and all conference, banqueting and events.This is a great opportunity for a dedicated pastry chef to join a very experienced pastry team who are constantly pushing the boundaries with new techniques and skills.
