Gateway Hospitality Recruitment is helping a busy hotel and fine dining restaurant in Worcestershire recruit a passionate Pastry Chef. You will lead the Pastry Section, work with fresh local ingredients, and prepare desserts and breads for lunch, dinner and afternoon teas.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will deputise in his absence, mentor junior team members and contribute ideas to the menu. The role is 5 days per week with straight shifts and live-in accommodation available.

Excellent Pastry Chef Opportunity with Hotel & Restaurant.

A Fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for our clients at this busy Hotel & fine dining restaurant in Worcestershire. Working for a talented Head Chef you will work on the dedicated Pastry Section with support from junior chefs and prepare meals for lunch and dinner service as well as afternoon teas. The role is 5 days per week with straight shifts.

Salary & Benefits

• Starting salary £39k
• Live in available

The Role

• Reporting to the Head Chef you will run the Pastry Section
• Working in the Hotel kitchen using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients
• Preparing desserts and breads for restaurant and afternoon teas
• Able to multi skill in the kitchen during busy periods
• Input into Menu and recipes and deputise for Head Chef in senior role in his absence

The Person

• You must have previous experience of ideally 4* Kitchens ideally to 2AA rosette level
• Already a Pastry Chef
• Able to work unsupervised and develop junior team members
• Good attention to detail
• Steady Career History showing progression.
