Job summary

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic, caring and committed Pastoral Team Members to support secondary schools across Northampton and surrounding areas.

You will provide day-to-day pastoral and emotional support, build trusting relationships with students, and collaborate with teachers and families to improve attendance and engagement. This role focuses on safeguarding and creating a safe, supportive school environment for young people.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in school/youth/community settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm, patient and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Confidence supporting students with behavioural or emotional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day pastoral and emotional support to students.

Teaching personnel are currently seeking enthusiastic, caring and committed Pastoral Team member to support secondary schools across Northampton and surrounding areas.

The role-

• Provide day -to- day pastoral and emotional support to students.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with young people.
• Support students with their behaviour, attendance, and engagement.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, pastoral leaders, SEN staff, and families where appropriate.
• Help students develop confidence, resilience, and positive social skills.
• Support students who may experience challenges both inside and outside of school.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
