Job summary

Oasis Academy Hobmoor in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Worker to join the Pastoral Team. You will work alongside students and parents to promote wellbeing, resilience and safe learning.

You will provide mentoring, support for mental health and safeguarding, and help develop social skills and positive behaviour. The role offers CPD opportunities, a friendly school environment and a strong commitment to community wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Role requires working with students and families within a pastoral team.
• Experience in safeguarding and supporting well-being is desirable.
• Ability to mentor students and collaborate with SLT on attendance.

Responsibilities

• Support with well-being, mental health, social skills, behaviour.
• Mentor students to enable engagement with learning.
• Work with parents/carers and pastoral staff to ensure safety and success.
