Job summary

Tupton Hall School, part of Redhill Academy Trust, is seeking a House Support Officer in Chesterfield. The role is 37 hours per week, full time, permanent, term-time only, with a focus on pastoral support and student wellbeing.

The post is on Redhill’s Pay Scale Band 7, points 32–36, with start from 9 November 2026. You will join a dedicated team committed to helping students achieve their potential in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Empathy and resilience to support students and families.
• Strong organisational skills to manage pastoral work and attend to student needs.
• Ability to work as part of a school-based pastoral team and liaise with parents.

Responsibilities

• Support students with behavioural and attendance concerns and provide pastoral interventions.
• Contribute to the school's wellbeing and achievement by collaborating with Heads of House and the inclusion team.
• Engage with parents and staff to ensure a positive, inclusive environment for all students.
