The Education Alliance is seeking a Pastoral Support Officer for South Hunsley School and Sixth Form to support students with emotional and behavioural needs under the guidance of the Assistant Headteacher. You will supervise and guide students within a school setting and contribute to their development.
Hours are up to 37 per week during term time, with an additional 44.5 paid hours per year for meetings and training, and some holiday work.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Pastoral Team as a Pastoral Support Officer at South Hunsley School and Sixth Form.
The working hours are up to 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional 44.5 hours per year, which enables you to attend team meetings and training and development that sits outside your normal working hours. You will also be required to work some days during the school holidays. Your actual salary will be 25,100.95 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.
Each day you will work under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher to provide support and supervision of students with Emotional, Behavioural Learning Difficulties were identified as a need. You will also work with line managers to implement and supervise individualised work programmes for vulnerable students and students placed either in Isolation, Reflection, Horizon, or on a personalised programme of support, at school, at college or alternative providers.

We are looking for an individual who has previously worked within youth services or a secondary school setting or has experience of supporting, advising, guiding, coaching or mentoring young people.
