We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Pastoral Support Assistant who is passionate, proactive and committed to ensuring that every student is supported to achieve their full potential. Working as part of our dedicated pastoral team, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students' wellbeing, attendance, behaviour and personal development.
The role will involve working closely with students, parents, carers and external agencies to address barriers to learning and promote positive outcomes. You will provide targeted pastoral interventions, act as a key worker for identified students, support reintegration following suspension, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure students feel safe, supported and successful.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, have experience of working with young people, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and student welfare. They will be able to build positive relationships with students and families, manage challenging situations with sensitivity and professionalism, and contribute to maintaining a calm, purposeful and inclusive school environment.
