Job summary

Droitwich Spa High School and Sixth Form Centre is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Officer to join our pastoral team. This role supports students, staff and families to promote positive behaviour and a calm, purposeful learning environment.

Band 9, £30,554 per annum, term-time only with 37 hours per week during published terms plus inset days, DBS checks required. You will be visible across the school day, conduct restorative conversations and help students repair relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people.
• Ability to build positive and professional relationships with students and staff.
• Commitment to restorative and relational approaches.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a calm, safe and purposeful learning environment.
• Lead restorative conversations and support students in reflecting on actions and repairing relationships.
• Support behaviour for learning and monitor standards throughout the school day.
