Job summary

The Oldham Academy North is seeking an organised Pastoral Administrator to join our pastoral, inclusion and student welfare services. You will coordinate admissions, support attendance and behaviour systems, and manage Free School Meals administration to ensure every pupil receives the support they need.

  • Excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards

Are you an organised, proactive and people-focused administrator looking to make a real difference in education? The Oldham Academy North is seeking an exceptional Pastoral Administrator to play a key role in supporting our pastoral, inclusion and student welfare services.

As the academy's lead administrator for admissions, you will coordinate the full admissions process, support attendance and behaviour systems, manage Free School Meals administration, and work closely with students, families and staff to ensure every young person receives the support they need to thrive. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, producing reports, supporting pastoral interventions and helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Key responsibilities:

Pay range:

SCP16-20 - £28,437.98 - £30,375.64 - FTE: £31,525.00 - £33,675.00

37 hours per week 40 weeks per year
