Job summary

E-ACT The Oldham Academy North in Oldham is seeking a highly organized SEND Administrator to join the dedicated SEND team. You will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure effective SEND provision across the academy and collaborate with staff, families and external agencies to coordinate interventions and maintain records.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office and other IT systems, with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage data effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Knowledge of SEND processes and systems; previous experience in an SEND or educational setting is desirable.

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the SEND team, ensuring the efficient delivery of SEND provision across the academy.
  • Maintain accurate SEND records, update the provision map and track interventions to support student progress and budget monitoring.
  • Act as a key point of contact for families, managing SEND communications, parental enquiries and attendance-related contact for SEND students.
  • Coordinate SEND processes, including referrals, review deadlines, meetings, external agency documentation and diary management.
  • Support the wider SEND team through timetable coordination, data management, daily briefings and ensuring appropriate support arrangements are in place for students.

Working closely with staff, families and external agencies, you will help coordinate interventions, manage SEND records and communications, support review processes, and contribute to ensuring every student receives the support they need to thrive.
