Job summary

Jago Consultants is recruiting a Parts Supervisor for the Maidenhead area within the automotive sector. You will lead the parts department, manage daily operations, and report to the Parts Manager. The role requires strong knowledge of parts KPIs and processes, and you must be an excellent communicator and people manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts department operation on a daily basis.
• Coordinate receipt and return of manufacturer goods.
• Ensure stock is received, checked, stored and dispatched daily.
• Maintain accurate records of parts and accessories.
• Order parts under supervision and keep records updated.
• Maintain cash and credit controls.

New Role! Parts Supervisor – Maidenhead area (Automotive Industry)

My client is looking to recruit a forward thinking, motivated Parts Supervisor to lead and manage the department on a daily basis, and reporting to the Parts Manager.

Location is Maidenhead in Berkshire

Job Role – Parts Supervisor

Hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm (can be flexible) with half hour unpaid lunch and 1 in 2 Saturday mornings 8am to 12 Noon.

Overall package is £35k OTE, with £3-4k of that being a quarterly bonus.

This is working in superb premises for a strong brand. Out client is looking for someone who can demonstrate being a leader of people. You will need to have a strong knowledge on Parts KPIs and processes, whilst being an excellent communicator and people person. You will be responsible for all of the daily functions within the department.

Parts Supervisor Role:

• To oversee the parts department operation
• To co-ordinate the receipt and return of manufacturers goods
• To ensure goods received are dispatch or stocked on a daily basis
• To ensure that all stock is received, checked and properly stored
• To ensure that all parts and accessories are correctly binned and accurately recorded
• To select items accurately, progress and dispatch orders efficiently
• To order parts and accessories, under the direction and supervision of the Aftersales Manager
• To ensure that the parts departments records are kept up to date
• Maintain accurate cash and credit controls

Parts Supervisor Role:

• Previous experience of working with a main dealer Parts Department
• Good organisational skills
• Good customer care skills
