Job summary

Impact Recruitment Services is seeking a Parts Administrator for a Northampton-based role. It is a full-time, temporary position (approx. 12 months) offering £14.10 per hour. You will manage quotation requests from engineers, source parts, and record all details accurately.

The role blends administration, customer service and supplier coordination in a fast-paced environment. Training and team support are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience.
• Comfortable using computer systems and web-based applications.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
• Confident communicator with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage system-generated quotation requests from engineers.
• Identify and source parts using online resources and supplier information.
• Liaise with suppliers via telephone and email to obtain pricing and availability.
• Enter purchase orders onto internal systems accurately.
• Process deliveries and receipting parts on arrival.
• Update engineer job cards with accurate notes throughout the process.
• Handle telephone enquiries from customers and engineers.
• Provide updates regarding parts and quotations.
• Support the wider Parts team during busy periods.
