Job summary

DINGLI in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support order preparation, stock control, and customer service on site. You will handle pre-pick, packing, and goods-in/out workflows while maintaining accurate stock records and safe working practices.

The role requires forklift experience, basic Word/Excel skills, and a team-focused attitude to ensure efficient daily operations and strong service delivery.

Qualifications

• Basic level in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in warehouse operations preferred.
• Possession of a forklift license.
• Mechanically inclined, with familiarity in operating AWP/EWP equipment considered an advantage.
• Demonstrates professional phone etiquette and effectively manages email inquiries.
• Detail-oriented, diligent, positive, a strong team player, and highly reliable.

Responsibilities

• Pre-pick parts and fulfil customer orders; verify stock availability for enquiries.
• Support spare-part document collation and reconciliation; assist with packing and goods-in/goods-out workflows; perform weekly and monthly inventory counts.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls and walk-in customer enquiries; nurture positive customer relationships with product knowledge and first-line impressions.
• Monitor stock levels daily; escalate shortages to headquarters in a timely manner; coordinate proactive replenishment activities; carry out routine cycle counts and audits.
• Prioritise and co-ordinate day-to-day operational tasks; provide cross-colleague support; maintain a robust safety culture and a clean, hazard-free workspace.
