Job summary

Place UK Ltd is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Operative to join a busy team. You will move and control goods across site, loading/unloading, and support accurate stock records.

The role requires strict adherence to health and safety, ability to operate a counterbalance forklift, and flexibility to work shifts including overtime. Training will cover food safety standards and internal procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RTITB or ITSSAR forklift certificate dated within the past 3 years.
• Good attention to detail.
• Adequate level of physical fitness.
• Flexibility with shift work and overtime.
• Prepared to work in various environments and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safe loading and unloading of goods using a Counterbalance Forklift.
• Transport goods and materials around site.
• Use of mobile steps to access trailers.
• Use of Yard Ramp to access Sea Containers.
• Complete pre-use checks before using forklift and report defects.
• Operate forklift for storage in cold stores and dry stores.
• Apply labels to cartons and pallets in correct positions.
• Complete delivery notes and stock putaway with accurate records.
• Complete daily/weekly checks on time and in full.
• Maintain accurate stock records across all warehouses.
• Handle and store chemicals safely per MSDS.
• Any other reasonable request as required.
