Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks Ltd in the Midlands is seeking a Parts Co-ordinator to interpret customer requirements for spare parts, ensure correct part numbers, and load orders onto the Baan system.

The role focuses on inventory control, back-order analysis, and dispatch of daily orders. You will maintain filing systems, support branch operations, and occasional travel around the Midlands is possible.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Parts Department.
• Good understanding of inventory procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with previous experience in communicating with internal and external customers.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel and Word), Parts and Service manuals, Internet) Ordering software.
• Flexibility to work as part of a team and as an individual.
• Knowledge of Baan software or equivalent package

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer requirements for spare parts, assuring the part numbers are correct and the orders are then loaded onto the Baan system.
• Analyse and evaluate back order reports and spare part requirements for open orders.
• Maintain good inventory housekeeping.
• Process and co-ordinate purchase and replenishment orders arriving, picking, packing and dispatching daily.
• Maintain appropriate administration and filing systems.
• This role is predominantly a branch based role but may involve occasional travel around the Midlands.
