Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus UK in Ripley is looking for a Parts Controller to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. You will supervise and control the daily activities of the Parts Department and ensure they achieve all budgeted targets while providing a comprehensive parts advice and support service to customers.

The ideal candidate will have good analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent organisation and administration capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy parts environment and managing a Parts Department.
• Experience in the truck or automotive industry preferred.
• 1–2 years in a similar role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and control the daily activities of the Parts Department to meet budgeted targets.
• Provide comprehensive parts advice and support to customers to promote MAN parts sales.
• Maintain efficient operation and high standards of customer service within the department.

Have you worked in a busy parts environment and had experience of managing a Parts Department?
Have you worked in the truck or automotive industry before?

We are looking for a Parts Controller to join our team in Ripley on a full time permanent basis.

No two days will be the same in this role, you will be supervising and controlling the daily activities of the Parts Department and ensuing they achieve all budgeted targets. Ensuring the department provides a comprehensive parts advice and support service to all customers promoting MAN parts sales.

To be successful in this role, you will have a good analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent organisational, administration and problem solving skills.
It would be a real advantage if you have had experience of working in the truck industry, however even coming from the automotive world would help – the rest we can teach. Ultimately, you should be enthusiastic, a good communicator with excellent organization and ideally have minimum of 1- 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
