Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus UK in Preston is seeking a Parts Sales Advisor to join our busy team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will process parts enquiries, promote MAN parts and support the branch targets while maintaining stock duties.

The ideal candidate has experience in a similar role within the truck industry, strong analytical and organizational skills, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset. A valid work permit is required. This on-site position offers a competitive salary and bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience within a busy parts environment is preferred.
• Must have strong customer service ethos and proactive approach.
• Good communication across phone and in person with customers.

Responsibilities

• Process parts enquiries with correct identification and information.
• Promote MAN parts in line with upselling guidelines.
• Assist and develop parts sales to meet branch targets.
• Provide 24 hour call-out as per rota.
• Assist and maintain stock room duties.
• Deputise in all areas of the parts department as directed by the Branch Manager.
• Attend training courses as deemed necessary by the parts supervisor.
• Ensure CSI and UTP targets are met.
• Ensure 5S standards in workstation and parts dept.
• Liaise with customers and provide progress updates.

Do you have experience within a busy parts environment?

We are looking for a Parts Sales Advisor to join our team in Preston on a full-time, permanent basis.

In This Role You Will

• process any parts related enquiries giving the correct identification and information required.
• promote MAN parts in compliance with customer upselling guidelines
• assist and develop parts sales with the objective of meeting Branch Parts Targets
• provide 24 hour call-out as per rota.
• assist and maintain stock room duties.
• deputise in all areas of the parts department as directed by the Branch Manager
• attend any training course as deemed necessary by the parts supervisor
• ensure compliance and achievement of CSI and UTP targets
• ensure workstation and parts dept complies with 5S programme
• liaise with customers and assist with any queries, keeping up with progress
• provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
