Job summary

Silcom Recruitment is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor for a busy car dealership site in Liverpool. You will manage the secure issue of parts, record transactions and assist customers with enquiries, ensuring accurate stock control.

The role requires proven parts advisory experience in the motor trade, a proactive approach and excellent customer service skills. Monday to Friday 8:00am–6:00pm with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone with previous experience working within a parts advisor position or similar in the motor trade.

Responsibilities

• Control the secure issue of stores to customers and record issued items.
• Handle customer enquiries swiftly, courteously and efficiently.
• Record all items supplied to customers.
• Keep the parts storage area clean, tidy and safe to work in.
• Inspect incoming parts for damage and verify quantities against delivery notes.

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Parts Advisor to join an established franchise car dealership group, with a site based in Liverpool. Our client is currently seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• To control the secure issue of stores to customers and ensure the accurate recording of issued items
• To handle customers enquires swiftly, courteously and efficiently
• To record all items supplied to customers
• To ensure the parts storage area is kept clean and tidy and safe to work in
• To ensure that parts on receipt are inspected for damage and that the quantities received match quantity advised on delivery notes and are then placed into stock locations noting if applicable shelf life items

***We are looking for someone with previous experience working within a parts advisor position or similar in the motor trade***

The Package:

Salary up to £22,000

Monday to Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm. One in two Saturday work (on rota)
