Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Parts Advisor (HGV / Trailer) in Durham to join a busy branch and support a tight-knit team. The role covers counter service, handling parts enquiries, and sales, with training and progression opportunities as the company grows.

You will liaise with customers by phone and in person, and assist with stock control. The position offers £36,000–£38,000 per year, plus a company bonus, 33 days holiday, training and ongoing benefits, with a Monday to Friday

Qualifications

• Parts Advisor or similar with an HGV or trailer background.
• Experience handling customer queries on the phone and in person.
• Will handle stock checks and warehouse upkeep.

Are you a Parts Advisor or similar from an HGV or Trailer background looking for an exciting opportunity within a thriving and rapidly growing company, who are known for looking after their staff, whilst providing direct progression opportunities to Assistant Branch Manager with ongoing training?

This role will involve working within a tight-knit team, in a Branch of 7 people, where you will be handling incoming and outgoing parts telephone enquiries and sales with a range of blue chip and household name clients. Additionally, your role will involve serving customers on the trade counter and picking items in the warehouse for drivers.

This role would suit a Parts Advisor or similar with a background in HGV or trailer parts looking to join a market leading company who look after their staff, provide continuous development and multiples opportunities to progress within the business.
