Qualifications

• Experience in a Parts Advisor, Parts Sales, Internal Sales, Trade Counter or customer-facing role would be beneficial.
• Confident communicating with customers over the telephone and via email.
• Comfortable handling sales enquiries and proactively contacting customers to generate business.
• Customer-focused, organised and commercially aware.
• Confident using computers and learning new systems.
• Adaptable, practical and happy to support colleagues across different tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales enquiries by telephone and email, understanding customer requirements and identifying the correct parts.
• Prepare quotations, provide pricing and availability information, and convert enquiries into orders.
• Make outbound calls to follow up quotations, maintain customer relationships and identify additional sales opportunities.
• Process orders accurately and maintain customer records using internal computer systems.
• Build strong relationships with customers across the UK commercial trailer industry.
• Provide a professional and helpful service to customers visiting the premises.
• Assist with picking, preparing and packing parts when required.
• Contribute ideas and activities to help grow parts sales and improve customer retention.

As a Parts Advisor / Parts Sales Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting customers, developing sales opportunities and contributing to this growth.

Around 80% of your time will be spent handling inbound customer enquiries by telephone and email, identifying parts, preparing quotations and processing orders. The remaining 20% will focus on outbound sales activity, following up quotations, strengthening customer relationships and generating additional business.
