Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is looking for a Parts Advisor in Maidstone with an Automotive/Transport background. You will deal with clients, provide quotes, check deliveries, manage stock and perform admin tasks, with Monday–Friday 8am-6pm and some Saturdays on a rota.

You will also support the warehouse and workshop teams with hands-on duties, enjoying overtime opportunities and clear chances for progression and training within a well‑established vehicle distributor.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar role within the Automotive/Transport sector.
• Ability to manage stock, quotations and client communications.
• Willingness to undertake admin tasks and assist warehouse/ workshop teams.

Responsibilities

• Deal with clients and customers face-to-face and on the phone.
• Provide quotes and check deliveries to customers.
• Manage stock levels and perform administrative duties.
• Assist the workshop and warehouse teams with hands-on tasks.
• Work Monday–Friday 8am‑6pm with some Saturday work on a rota.

Are you a Parts Advisor or similar with a background in the Automotive / Transport industry looking for a stable and secure role within a well-established HGV company moving from strength-to-strength who offer overtime, a varied workload and the chance to develop your career across multiple departments? This company are a rapidly growing yet well-established commercial vehicle supplier who operate across several sites across the UK and work with a diverse client base ranging from tight-knit businesses to blue-chip, household names. Due to an ever increasing workload they are looking to grow their friendly team.

On a daily basis, you will be responsible for dealing with clients and customers, providing quotes, checking deliveries, managing stock and undertaking associated admin work. Further to this you will also be responsible for assisting the warehouse team with some hands on responsibilities as you work Monday‑Friday with some Saturday work on a rota.

This role would suit a Parts Advisor or similar with a background in the Automotive / Transport industry looking for a stable and secure role within a well-established vehicle distributor who offer the ability to progress your career, best in class training and overtime to significantly increase your earnings.

The Role:
