Job summary

AUTOPARTS & DIAGNOSTICS LIMITED is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team at the area’s largest independent motor factor. You will handle front-counter queries, process orders, and dispatch correct parts while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

We value proactive, sales-driven individuals with a strong understanding of cars. 1 year in a similar role is preferred. Benefits include a company pension, on-site parking, and 28 days of annual leave.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Parts Advisor or similar in the motor trade.
• Strong understanding of cars essential; MAM software experience advantageous.
• Proactive, sales-driven and committed to outstanding customer service.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and as part of a team at front counter.
• Provide customer service over the phone and face-to-face.
• Identify and dispatch correct parts to internal and external customers.
• Liaise with colleagues to exceed customer expectations.
• Handling customer queries and orders at the front counter.
• Answering inbound calls and serving retail and trade customers.
• Building long-term relationships with local customers.
• Actively promoting offers and customer incentives.
• Accurately picking and packing parts for delivery or collection.
• Processing customer orders in the MAM system.
• Handling payments, both in person and over the phone.
• Managing customer returns for collection and/or processing.

We are an established, family-run Independent Motor Factor, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our growing team.

About the Role:

We are looking for candidates with prior experience as a Parts Advisor or similar roles in the motor trade. A strong understanding of cars is essential, and while experience with MAM software is advantageous, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a willingness to learn.

You should be proactive, sales-driven, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. Excellent communication and organizational skills, combined with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, are crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
