Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking an organised and customer-focused candidate for a permanent, full-time stock/parts assistant role. You will serve customers and technicians at the front counter, by phone and email, identify and supply parts, process orders and help dispatch, and keep stock well organised in a busy environment.

Experience in parts, stores, stock control or retail is ideal; background in a high-paced setting and comfortable with computer systems and basic office software will help.

Qualifications

Are you experienced in parts, stores or stock management and enjoy dealing with customers?

We’re looking for someone who is organised, practical and customer-focused, with experience working in a parts, stores, warehouse, retail or stock environment.

You don’t necessarily need agricultural experience-motor trade, automotive, engineering or other relevant backgrounds will also be considered. What’s important is that you’re confident managing stock, dealing with customers and keeping things organised in a busy environment.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers and technicians at the front counter, by phone and email
• Identifying and supplying the correct parts
• Processing orders and arranging dispatch
• Managing and organising stock
• Supporting general stores duties, including stock control
• Handling payments and maintaining accurate records
• Providing excellent customer service and supporting sales targets

Ideally, you’ll have experience in:

• Parts, stores, stock control or retail
• Working directly with customers
• Organising and managing stock
• A busy, fast-paced environment
• Using computer systems, email and basic office software

The Package

• Permanent, full-time position
• 39 hours per week
• Monday-Friday, with Saturdays on a rota
