Job summary

Kemp Recruitment is seeking an organized, customer-focused Parts, Stores or Stock Assistant to join a busy operations team. You’ll handle stock, assist customers, and keep systems up to date.

You’ll serve customers at front counter, phone and email; identify parts, process orders, dispatch, and support stock control. Previous experience in parts, stores, retail or similar is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts, stores, stock control or retail.
• Experience working directly with customers.
• Organising and managing stock in a busy environment.
• Using computer systems, email and basic office software.

Are you experienced in parts, stores or stock management and enjoy dealing with customers?

We’re looking for someone who is organised, practical and customer-focused, with experience working in a parts, stores, warehouse, retail or stock environment.

You don’t necessarily need agricultural experience- motor trade, automotive, engineering or other relevant backgrounds will also be considered. What’s important is that you’re confident managing stock, dealing with customers and keeping things organised in a busy environment.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers and technicians at the front counter, by phone and email


• Identifying and supplying the correct parts


• Processing orders and arranging dispatch


• Managing and organising stock


• Supporting general stores duties, including stock control


• Handling payments and maintaining accurate records


• Providing excellent customer service and supporting sales targets

Ideally, you’ll have experience in:

• Parts, stores, stock control or retail


• Working directly with customers


• Organising and managing stock


• A busy, fast-paced environment


• Using computer systems, email and basic office software

The Package

• Permanent, full-time position


• 39 hours per week


• Monday–Friday, with Saturdays on a rota


• Competitive salary depending on experience
